Doing design work for The Sweet was incredible, they are one of the most influential bands – In the 70’s they ruled the roost.
We wanted to design a poster that almost looked like it was pulled out of the centre of a 70’s pop music magazine – So we used limited colours, made the ‘print’ look a bit wonky (as many colour prints were in the 70’s!) and we even put fake fold lines on the poster designs to give it an extra edge.
We also created landscape versions and versions for different venues on the tour, as well as creating their social media campaigns.
